The Garland birdbath is a reproduction of an historic design which only existed at the time in photographs. Commissioned in 2011 by the Beatrix Farrand Society, the birdbath has a handsome bowl with a very striking, radially-fluted underside. The fluting is hand-cut into the concrete surface and is an interesting, notched visual when viewed from above. The bowl sits on a graceful, spindle-wedge shaped column.
