The Orta Nova planter is a bell-shaped, Greek 'Krater' style vase. It was chiefly used (historically) for mixing water and wine. Characteristic of the 'Krater' vase is the large width at the top, which is excellent for planting, and small, pedestal-style foot.

Note: This Orta Nova has a custom, hand painted 'Egyptian Scarab' frieze. The frieze can be plain or painted with any number of custom, decorative elements.
